Purpose:
This letter serves to announce and communicate the
details of the 2008 Publix End of Summer Savings Spectacular promotion.
This program will be exclusively for meat department brands.

Program Details:
Publix is
offering the opportunity to participate in an exciting consumer marketing
program. Details:
- Customized insert page in the
Publix Monthly Grocery CO-OP dropping in all Publix markets on 8/09/08.
Circulation is 4.7 MM (160,000 Miami Hispanic newspapers) with an
additional 500 flyers in each store.
- Brand specific shelf signs
reflecting coupon offer or advantage buy price, along with the Summer
Savings Spectacular logo, to be placed on shelf for four weeks 8/09/08 –
9/5/08.

Cost:
Participation Options
·
3 Coupon spaces available @ $11,000
per coupon (limited to one brand)
o
Coupons can either use look up number
or manufacturer UPC
·
10 Advantage Buy spaces @ $8,900 per
brand/space
o
Advantage Buys will be scanned for the
4 weeks of the program
·
Both options include customized shelf
signs in all stores, 4.7 million circulation of flyer

Deadline:
·
Proposals are due to Craig Fisher no later
than 5/02/08
o
Craig Fisher will select the
participating brands if more proposals are received than there are spaces
available
·
Brands will be notified of
participation approval by Craig Fisher the week of 5/9/08
