A Summer Safety Camp

A unique, exciting, educational day camp for energetic kids ages 6 – 11 years old. Developed by Tampa General Hospital’s MORE HEALTH program, which has been instructing and delighting thousands of Hillsborough County children about health and safety since 1989.

Camp MORE HEALTH is a dynamic, hospital-based summer camp, which promotes health, safety, and injury prevention through games, activities, art, and interactive lessons. Last year 320 children learned about bones, good nutrition, physical exams, poison prevention, and bike safety.

Frozen & Refrigerated Foods of Central Florida meets with the children and supports the message of good nutrition and how frozen and refrigerated foods are good for them. We feed them ice cream, string cheese, yogurt and other delights as well as give them educational materials and gifts for them to take home.
